Alarming but true. Children fail to differentiate between right and wrong. It is up to us how we guard our children from being exposed to such elements when their understanding is limited. Anantonline offers advice about how to be safe online. Learning how to use the Internet is not hard, it just takes some thinking and getting used to, like any new situation you get involved in.

Internet is huge reservoir information and contains fantastic work. However at the same time, there exist elements like pornography, violence and drug abuse which can influence them negatively. Internet is flooded with pornography. There are more than 500,000 websites containing pornographic material. Over 60% children are exposed to it somehow or the other.
Strictly speaking, no hardware other than wireless adapters is required to build a small wireless LAN (WLAN).
The exact number of devices that can connect and effectively share a WiFi varies but is probably larger than you think.
Try either of these two approaches for setting up shared dial-up Internet access on a home WLAN.
The router will broadcast the wireless signal which will be picked up by the laptop's built-in wireless card (if it has one, most new laptops do have one) or by a USB wireless network adapter click here plugged into the laptop. Normally if you're moving round the house or garden, the printer, ext CD player, etc. aren't plugged in. You can print wirelessly using a print server or a network with the printer connected and shared on another computer in the house, but that's a different question to the one you asked.
Mainstream wireless network equipment used in routers and computers generally signals in either a 2.4 GHz range or a 5 GHz range. However, just because it carries a bigger number, 5 GHz hardware is not necessarily better than 2.4 GHz hardware.
Wi-Fi technology simplifies the sharing of network connections between multiple computers and people. However, using someone else's Internet service may not be legal even if it is open access.
802.11n network equipment supports up to 300 Mbps of rated bandwidth under certain conditions as described here. Unfortunately, sometimes an 802.11n network will operate at much lower speeds.
To save power and somewhat improve your network’s security, you should consider turning off the Wi-Fi radios on both the router and all computers when not using wireless connections.
Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista
• 1GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor • 1GB RAM (32-bit) / 2GB RAM (64-bit) • 16GB available disk space (32-bit) / 20GB (64-bit) • DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
Yes, but there’s a catch. Only Windows Vista users will be able to do an in-place upgrade. This means that Windows XP or 2000 users will be required to do a clean install. If you’re planning on upgrading PCs for friends and family, bring a USB hard drive and be prepared to stay awhile.
All retail editions of Windows 7 will ship with both the 32 & 64 bit DVDs. This is a huge improvement over Vista where users would need to order additional disks manually from Microsoft. Users who purchase Windows 7 digitally through the Microsoft store will be allowed to choose which version they want prior to starting the download.
As long as you have a copy of Windows 2000, XP, or Vista, you can buy any upgrade edition you want. It’s important to note however that on the Vista side, this could impact your ability to perform in-place upgrades. For example, don’t expect to be able to do an in-place upgrade of Windows Vista Business to Home Premium; a clean install may be required. You can also upgrade a lower version such as XP Home to Windows 7 Ultimate.
